Ephemeral things fascinate me as a subject for photography. You have to be quick – get it before it’s gone. I took these four photos one afternoon in my daughter’s backyard – fallen petals on the concrete the fleetingest of all (is that a word? It is now…). The tiny sliver of glass might last a long time, but it was revealed by a chance gust of wind. All the pictures have been played with – possibly enhanced… I’ll let you be the judge of that.
